Blue Moon


You know the saying... "Once in a Blue Moon".  What a beautiful way to begin our year.  Mom took the night shots and I couldn't help but to snap the daylight shot as I was walking out the door this morning with Buddy for our morning exercise.

A Fresh Start


It seems I start out each new year the same way...by cleaning "stuff" out.  This year I took it to a whole new level.  A new organization system was installed today and here are a couple of pictures of my closet at its VERY cleanest! ;)  Don't worry, it won't stay that way for long.

Condensation

This is the water cycle wrapped in plastic, a science activity we are
doing in my fifth grade classroom.
“I can’t ‘bewieve’ we ‘ah’ seeing condensation in
‘pwogwess’!!” was one of the first day’s memorable quotes.
It takes so little to get them excited…

Snow Day


The first picture I took through the back door predawn pondering whether
we would have a snow day today.
The second was taken on an early evening walk with fingers so cold, they
could not feel the shutter button.
Even so, it felt good to be outside.
